SOLIDARY TRIPS/VOLUNTEERING PROGRAMS.
Our volunteering programs are SOLIDARY TRIPS that offer you the opportunity to visit our project in the field.
During your stay you can get to know the children and the community where they live and have a first hand experience of an African country, its culture and its people.
Assist in the classes and the daily tasks in the school, learn their language, taste their meals and meet new people.
You can also meet your sponsored child.
You are required to pay for your own costs becouse SOLIDARY TRIPS are not really volunteering programs, as all the educational needs are covered with donations and contributions.
Local teachers and other staff receive a salary to work daily with the children to keep them off the streets and give them a chance to a better future.
Books, school materials, daily food, clothing, shoes and other basic needs are also provided depending on funds available.
A SOLIDARY TRIP will make you grow as a person and will open your eyes to other worlds which although very different to yours also exist.
Your assistance will be acknowledged with a participation certificate!
COSTS: 2 weeks: 460 €, 3 weeks: 550 euros, 4 weeks: 640 euros.
Please ask about requirements & costs for longer periods.
These prices include the participation in the activities of the school, basic accommodation, breakfast and a meal, bottled water, pick up from the airport on arrival and escort when leaving, orientation in the country and 24 x 7 days support.
It also includes a small donation to the organization.
Fees do NOT include:
- flight
- visa fees health and other insurance
- vaccinations (yellow feber obligatory, other might be recommended)
- pocket money for personal expenses
- public transport and internal travel in the country.
